One of my buddies went all in on FF. Spent like $1k. I bought some packs and a deck but had to exercise self control so I don’t take out a HELOC on my house.

I downloaded RESET Collection on my ancient samsung galaxy, transferred ROMs and found a dual sense controller for $5.
It’s been working great and a lot of fun. Paid $5 for the app and $5 for the controller. When I have downtime at work I’ve been playing games in my car. Cool thing about it is I can connect through blue tooth for the controller and my car speakers.
I’m a visiting mental health worker so there’s a lot of turnover and burnout at my agency. So breaks and downtime are a necessity. I told my boss I play games on company time and she said “hell yeah as long as you get your work done!”

Something I’ve wanted to do for a long time is have a place to share/ show off my collectables. I was thinking of making an Instagram account to do so but I’m not a fan of meta at all.
Does anyone know of any other platform that might be good for such a thing? The only other one I can think of is Tumblr, but…yeah.

I did a recheck and found that, after finishing all the cards I “wanted”, I still needed 12 normal arts, one of them I had to buy while I traveled because it was impossible to find in my home country, so I think I actually managed to complete it this time.

Yes, both the bundle version that comes with a gollum, sam and frodo panorama, and one of the normal versions that I happened to open at some point. In fact, I opened two of them, and I think I traded one for a foil Balin’s tomb, which is one of the best cards on the set imo.

That’s a really good trade! I almost bought a Balin’s Tomb but it was $135 and I’m trying not to spend money.

This is my current project. Tedious project but I’m enjoying it. Ripping up carpet on the stairs.
One by one pulling up all the staples, tacks, sanding then we’ll paint the stairs. My wife is going to order a runner.
Already fucked some stuff up but nothing a little wood filler can’t fix!
Second picture has temporary threads for safety sake mostly thinking about our elderly dog and her wonky legs. Poor little baby.
Today I took off the treads because my dog will adjust. Also like a fool I screwed the treads directly into the steps. Subsequently pissing off my wife. Just like any good husband does.
