I’ve always loved video games from the day my brother got an NES for his birthday and we started playing Mario.

I took breaks here and there from gaming but still enjoyed talking about video games and reminiscing.

Lately I’ve been downsizing my cartridges and systems, adopting the ways of emulation on my retro machine and recently picked up a Vita and PS4.

What got me back into video games, the type of interest that causes someone to build a raspberry pi powered retro station, would be the documentary Indie Game: The Movie. I must’ve watched it six times and just fell in love with games again. I had to play the games showcased in the movie, so I downloaded the Steam client and then got more and more hooked.

I’m glad to be part of this awesome community of shared interest, respect, collaboration and partnering with other gamers who are looking for that perfect game.
