Not all anime is equal. Some of them are fantastically drawn and animated while some are apparently 90s visual novel Sky. Lol.
Im sure some people have the same issues with comics. I dont read alot but i know a couple i was put off by the art.

I’ve completely forgotten about Dead Can Dance. I had an album of theirs maybe 20 years ago that I enjoyed.
First of all, when I scrolled through this thread, at some point all of the videos started playing simultaneously. That was not good listening.

Been enjoying this release from Darwin Deez for a couple of weeks. The style is more similar to his first album, for better or worse.
Incredible shoegaze track from Jane Remover’s side project Venturing. Based off this song alone, this has to be one of my most anticipated albums of the year. I’ve heard that her second album as Jane Remover sounds like this, but I never checked it out cause I didn’t connect with her debut much.
All the music talk on the front page reminded me that my playlists are getting super stale lately, so I’m gonna try to post weekly in here to encourage me to go foraging for new stuff.

Every now and then I go back to Adicta, an Argentinian pop band that had its heyday in the early 2000s. Give it a go if you like 2000’s cringe and gay stuff.
