I found this as the intro music to a podcast I really enjoyed. I love this song now.
It’s amazing what he did with 2000 marbles.
Trying out Victoria Monet’s Jaguar II. It’s an R&B album that leans heavily in the direction of pop, a smidge towards gospel, and is excellently produced. If that sounds like something you might like, you might like Jaguar II.
Also “I could be riding horseback towards you, slow motion on a beach titties bouncin’ and everything” is maybe the funniest opening line for a not-expressly-comedic track that I’m aware of.
Hit from Germany 1983 that I loved back then. The video is from a TV event where people could vote per landline which one they wanted to win.
Deep in the forest between the moss and the farm,
there lived a beetle called Karl.
His life was suddenly interrupted
when he hears a dull rumble.
Noisy machines overrun the forest,
soon drowned out the birdsong.
Tree after tree is cut down with a sharp axe,
destroying his habitat.
Karl the beetle was not consulted,
He was simply chased away
Karl the beetle was not asked,
he was simply chased away.
A ribbon of tarmac spreads out,
invites nature to retreat.
A flower that still stands by the wayside,
is simply tarmaced over.
Karl is no longer here,
there’s no longer a place for animals.
Where Karl was once at home,
there are now beetles made of sheet metal and steel.
Karl the Beetle wasn’t asked,
he was simply chased away
Karl the Beetle wasn’t asked,
they simply chased him away.
(Instrumental)
Karl the beetle was not asked,
they simply chased him away
Karl the beetle was not asked,
they simply chased him away.
Karl the beetle was not asked,
He was simply chased away
Karl the beetle was not asked,
He was simply chased away.
Always thinking of this
“and he takes, and he takes, and he takes…”
I’m enjoying Brittany Howard’s What Now. It jumps between genres with relative ease and executes most everything it is attempting. I wasn’t a fan of her last solo record, but this one sounds like Radiohead/sounds like Tame Impala/Sounds like the Flaming Lips/Sounds like a club record/Sounds like Alabama Shakes/and I think it sounds like a record you might like.
Hello guys I was wondering if any of you could share any vaporwave tracks that have a good vizualation associated with it. I love thise genre and am looking for new videos to listen to while at work.
