Maybe I should’ve waited on the bamboo wand… BTW, all the wands share the same outfits, right? Because it would be crazy if each wand stored their own set of outfits. :V

I really wish they stored their own. It would let us offload clothing storage to them. Plus think of all the snazzy outfits you could have on you.
So far I’ve made every wand I manage to find a recipe for. Star, bamboo, cherry blossom and now egg. I also picked up the fish wand from CJ. I don’t need them but it’s fun to collect and match to different outfits.

@lunt One of your villagers moved into my town today!
I’m enjoying New Leaf, but it is a bummer to be left out of all the New Horizons stuff. I can see how New Leaf would be a bit more fun if there were still people playing it. 
Today I found out about customizing furniture and now regret selling all the ugly furniture I had gotten. I managed to collect all the egg furniture and then found out it sold for 18k each, so now I don’t have any of the egg furniture, but I am 250k richer. 
I’ll continue living in my own little world over here, hijacking the New Horizons chat thread to talk about an 8 year old game.

It was Rocket who moved in. I appreciate that he didn’t move in right next door to me, as every other villager has done after I purposefully chose a spot away from everyone.

It’s wild, but that extra storage space sure would be nice. (I’m only on my second(?) house upgrade, and the storage limit is really chafing my patience.)
And the best part would be that I could just fill my tool ring with wands and spam transformations the entire time I’m visiting a friend’s island LOL
I’ve only collected the star, bamboo and egg wand recipes - I didn’t know there was a cherry blossom wand! Jealous~
I wish I had known that your hands had to be empty to make a wish, I definitely missed out on a few early on because I didn’t know.

I regret only telling you this now after the fact but if you craft the eggs into furniture it sells for quadruple the value of the base material. I assume that will apply to all festive related crafted items going forward.

I tried that and it only seemed to sell for the same price as the base material.

Just checked and it’s double. But I think during Bunny Week it was quadruple. Maybe I’m wrong about that and just misremembered. But like most items, the crafted product sells for at least double the value of the base mats.

I spent entirely too much time yesterday going after the bunny day “stuff” I didn’t have. I got the wand recipe though. Now I’m bummed reading that I missed the cherry blossom wand. I still have some petals left, but I doubt I could make a wand.

Celeste comes when there’s an actual shower, but I had some shooting stars the other night without it being an actual shower. It was just a normal night, but I guess it was “clear,” which is really the only determining factor.

Agreed. Celeste has visited me twice but there have been brief periods of shooting stars on other nights.
