Can you believe we have fewer than ten days left. We are in the home stretch. Keep those submissions flowing.
That Banh Mi place looks cute! Love the mascots and graphics out front
All the vibes of Day 22 are so cozy. :))
I’ve had to miss out on a few days recently, but I’ll do my best to take a photo today for the 24th and keep snapping with everyone until the end of March!
I know I’m late with yesterday’s gallery. Had a hectic day. I’ll have it posted shortly.
Better late than never we have Day Twenty-Three of the Grouvee Photo Challenge.
Please, if I missed a photo, let me know!
Day Twenty-Four of the Grouvee Photo Challenge. Less than a week left in the challenge now. Hoping for some nice weather for our final week and lots of great photos!
I really like the framing of your architecture shots!
Convinced @Bliceheart lives in a world of figurines and paint and it seems awesome
Can you believe we’ve been doing this for twenty-five days?
In case anyone would like to read the Checkpoint cards in my picture but require alt text, here it is!
- Tidy Up - Everyday Basics
”Tidy room, tidy mind,” or so the saying goes. Keeping your living or working area neat and clean actually has measurable benefits to both health and mental health. The act of tidying can also be introduced as a basic but effective self-care activity. Easy to do and you feel amazing once it’s done!- Reward Progress - Problem Solving
You are doing great. Every day you are on day further in your journey, and you are doing everything you can - that’s all anyone can ask. Remember to take the time to reward, congratulate and sincerely take pride in your progress and achievements.- Thought Balancing - Thought Exercises
If you have a negative thought, look at it in a more balanced way. You could use pros and cons, rate how true it could be out of 100, or take your thought to court. What is the evidence for it. What is the evidence against it? Try acting as the defense and prosecution to look at how true your thought really is.- Forgiveness - Mindful Mantras
Forgiveness can be a healing process and aid you in moving forward through adversity. This might be forgiving yourself for traits, personality flaws or past events you aren’t happy with. It might be forgiving others. Whatever it is, keep it gentle and boundaried, but heartfelt and wholesome.
While the Checkpoint Coping Companion used to be available for purchase and as a free pdf to print at home, sadly none of this stuff is available anymore after Checkpoint ceased operations in 2022.
Happy to share more of the deck on bluesky once a week or something if anyone is interested in it.
That hallway shot is super cool, BMO!
I keep meaning to take more photos outside of my apartment but I tend to forget until I’m home from work for the day.
I carry my smaller camera everywhere, just in case. I do find it helps me be more deliberate in the way I look at the world.
I think mine might have been missed in the DMs for the 25th submission!
It’s there now.
I’m getting kind of frustrated with DM notifications and the fact that if I have multiple to read the system marks then all read if I read just one. And then I’m clicking through DMs to see if I missed anything, which I inevitably have. Also, although I don’t think this affects DMs, the Grouvee forum chat resizes image to under 1mp.
Honestly I think Disc or Matrix are a better way to send me photos. A few have already started doing that.
No worries, I appreciate the admin you’re having to do on your end, it must be frustrating! I’m in the grouvee discord server so I can DM to you there if that’s more convenient for you? Again appreciate all the efforts:)
You know, that is not all too far off. I dipped my toe into painting because eh, any paint is better than grey, and turns out I love it.
Wow all the submissions are so good! @Jace what are the checkpoint cards about? They look sweet!
That pepper puree is impressive!! I’m also convinced Georgey is giving off some kind of president of Nintendo America vibes
Checkpoint were a non-profit that provided outreaching support and resources for gamers with mental illnesses. It’s a deck full of cards with different tools and exercises for navigating mental health issues with a cute video game theme. I have a lot of those, so I always keep the deck handy in my little reading nook. I draw at least one every night to practice, I always find them helpful when I’m in a bad place.
Well I am late to this but will submit at least one picture before the month is over!
