seeing him in summer. mulling around paying for a backstage pass to meet the man and tell him what he means to me.
i’m really enjoying the new Panda Bear record. i had mild interest in it prerelease, but have found myself putting it on over and over again. it’s hard to put my finger on what i like so much about it, but his hypnotic self harmonizing computer voice crooning over more traditional indie folk fare has been calming for me. ive been listening to him via animal collective for twenty years. it’s just nice to hear a familiar voice.
this album is a warm bath.
Was recently revisiting animal collective. I could never get into panda bear for some reason, which seems weird.
Person Pitch is his solo album that got him known as a solo artist, but the new one is maybe what I’d recommend to someone who hasn’t enjoyed his previous stuff. Sinister Grift is not challenging but not boring. i like it in part because it is easy peasy.
I know that one tune that samples Machaut, I’m ok with that one
It is time now for everyone to acknowledge the soundtrack for Super Adventure Island. Another front-to-back CLASSIC from Yuzo “You Really Didn’t Have To Go That Hard” Koshiro
Curently having fun exploring the new songs for the Eurovison Song Contest 2025 here:
