If you like that first armour design it makes me thing you should come play FFXIV 
At least in so far as there’s a lot of flexibility in terms of outfits and colours.

I love a good fashion game, so it’s tempting!
But with stuff like MMOs that lack a fixed end point, I worry that I’ll get stuck playing em long past the point where I’m still having fun. Happened to me with both Overwatch and Rocket League back when those came out, it’s just something I’m susceptible to.

That’s fair enough. If you ever felt inclined to change your mind there’s a few of us playing and there’s lots of avenues for play including players who do nothing but craft, collect, and wear pretty gear

Thought I’d share some art by one of my Top 5 comic artists (and fellow Aussie), Nicola Scott.
Best known for her work for DC, especially Wonder Woman, she is one of the most consistently brilliant artists in comics. I had the pleasure of meeting her several years ago and is one of the few comic artists of whom I own original art. Absolutely brilliant human!
This is one of a series of “heroes through the ages” works she did. I’d highly recommend checking out all of them HERE.

She even did a cover for the Australian Phantom comics, which I bought two of; one to read and one to (eventually) frame and put on the wall.

It depends on the post. Sometimes a repost doesn’t show you the content being referenced/reposted.’
Most of those have additional images, I just don’t want to circulate the images separate from the post because even if I attribute them, it puts them out on the web in a way search engines can scrape and separate from the attribution.

I didn’t consider the defensive measures against scrapers. I’ll have to keep that in mind in general in the future. Unfortunately I don’t think BlueSky as a platform does much in regards to protecting content from AI scrapers on their website. But at least the Grouvee scrapers won’t get them.

Search engine scrapers will maintain the link between the image and the post if what they scrape is Bluesky. But If I take the image, embed it here, and separately link to the artist via URL, search engine scrapers will attribute the image to the Groovee forum URL instead. They won’t look for adjacent attributing URLs and link them together. So by posting a link to the Bluesky post, I don’t create a new instance of that piece of media that circulates separately from the artist’s post.
AI scrapers are different. They don’t care about attribution. But here I’m just trying to prevent someone stumbling upon this in a search engine image search and linking, or taking the image without a proper attribution. It’s how images eventually circulate without attribution and what contributes to the loss of connecting information as people circulate and re-circulate images they found in Google Image search from sites without attribution.

Ohhhh. The Pinterest crisis!!! I understand. I get so frustrated when I’m reverse searching something and all I find are Pinterest links that lead to nowhere.

Exactly. This is one cause of things like that.
It’s also worth noting that I think the Bluesky embed was improved recently. When I posted this message the other day, there was no embed, and now there is.

Naw, don’t feel bad. It’s not meant to make anyone feel bad. Posting an image and attributing it is the good thing to do. But when I have a Bluesky post the image and the attribution are already connected, so I find it better not to strip the image out if the post and then reattribute it. But if you don’t have something that will easily embed like that, then it makes total sense to just post the image and post the artist attribution.

I love this kind of fan art that pops up occasionally on Steam on the game pages. Often they are just stick figures even and not as well made like this one, some are really well made art, but they all show love for the games and often have their very special way of humor /inside jokes depending on the game.
I have started to give these awards, because I feel it is the best use for the points you get when buying a game.

Well, I mentioned the name of the artist, but they don’t have websites (as far as I know) to link to. I hope that’s enough. My training in art just pre-dated the whole “artist website boom” so I am probably unaware of correct procedures.

Honestly, the bare minimum is posting the artist’s name and the source if they have any online presence. Most people don’t even do that.
