We haven’t landed on that yet but we’ll solidify that soon. Maybe something to discuss on a case-by-case. Probably no more than 1000 words unless it really warrants it and it will fit the structure of the Zine. It’s another thing we have to feel out since this is the first shot at this. Do you have a word count in mind?

I have also submitted! Wanted to note that I would be happy to collaborate with other proposals, whether its that they’re connected by the theme/game, or if you’d just like to spitball ideas or get some feedback.
Also I’m not sure how many submissions there will be, but if it gets way too loaded with content for a little zine I’m happy to shelf my submission. My main priority would just be to ensure that everyone has enough space for their work.

WOah it’s finally happening!! Are there any positions left on the team? I’d love to get involved with anything really. I’ll even do GeorgeyPoorgeys chores for a week! Writing is probably the area im least terrrible at, but can also dust off the design and photo editing software I seem to always buy and update but rarely get the time to use! I have Affinity Publisher for layout design if its needed but others probably have the fancier adobe suite!

Fill out the form. There are questions about collaboration. You can just put N/A in the article submission field. It helps if people fill it out because it pipes it all into an Excel file for me so I have it in one place.

ah I see, in my excitement I misread the purpose of the form!

I’d like to volunteer my services. I have skills such as using far too many commas when writing, low self confidence when it comes to my ability to contribute to anything creative, a dry sense of humor that doesn’t work well over text, a middling knowledge of popular gaming topics, and no idea how I can be helpful. But fit me in wherever might be useful!

Wow this is such a cool idea, I dreamt about making my own video game magazines since I was a teenager. I don’t have any experience in making one though, and I am not a native English speaker so writing may not be great, but I guess we have awesome editors for help with that 
I am from China so maybe I can write some video game history in China that is not well known in the English speaking world. I had fun sharing this story a while ago: Weekly gaming history exercise #1 - #17 by Kirais
