I finally got around to the May Day tour, the maze was fun (but short)! I want to do something like that again uwu
But can I say how disappointed I was that we couldn’t keep the stuff? I was so excited about the free stuff. Grown azalea bushes! White cosmos!! Broken hearted after I returned and no plants in my pockets <\3
Is anyone able to order the white pool from the Nook Miles redemption kiosk? I can only get the grey one with purple light. I’d be happy to give you 3 Nook Miles Tickets in exchange (the pool is 5000 Nook Miles to buy).
What if we use this picture as a template to mark down our variants and/or which ones we want?

Currently I’m trying to find the Nook Inc antenna, the colorful jungle gym, either Resetti construction sign, and any color benches. :V
Congrats! It really does sneak up on you. Same thing happened to me about a week past. Decided to ask on a whim and lo-and-behold it was 5 star. Proud of my little island.
I built a little neighborhood in the north. On the east side of town there is an elevated orchard. The south is shopping and what not. The West is a garden (also my wife’s tent is still sitting there as she hasn’t upgraded to a house and we can’t move her tent). Center of town is a lake surrounded by flowers and a roundabout river.
Looks very cool. I’ll post mine in a bit when I’m back on to grab a shot. One thing is I don’t think the map doesn’t my island justice. What I really like doing is taking people on tours.
There’s nothing really fancy about mine yet. I made a little elevated overlook behind my house yesterday, which I’m happy with. Before that I just had a nice fence and back yard setup.
I think I was feeling kind of bad about rearranging the whole island from what it was in the beginning. A nostalgia for something barely months old, haha. But last night, I spent several hours destroying a whole cliff to the north of my island and made a heart-shaped pond area that I’m gonna dress up with flowers and a bench and stuff.
I feel like I probably would have been doing fancier stuff if this had been an option with the older games when I had more time. I dunno, though. I think part of it is just patience and a lack of willingness to destroy inclines or bridges.
I destroyed a lot of cliffs to make my neighborhood. I wish you could build unlimited bridges and inclines. I would get more creative. They limit you at 8 a piece.
When I started on the island, I planted trees everywhere, both regular and fruit. As I expanded I removed trees. My plan was to work with the natural landscape as if I were settling a real place. I am not a big fan of designing on a grid, so the layout feels more like it has grown organically to fit the landscape, rather than shaping the landscape to fit a layout. I quite like it a lot. I am always tinkering. Just last night I changed the look of my main plaza. I was happy with it before, but am now even happier. I love my little island.
Both of yours look great!
I also moved my shop. It’s the first that I’ve moved any of the buildings (other than villager houses). My “starting” quadrant was the bottom left, so I now have all of the villager houses in the top two quadrants, my own house on the starter, and the shop now on the bottom right. Next is moving the Able Sisters next to it and adjusting the river, since I placed the shop between a cliff and water. I’d like to keep the shops together and just keep the main quadrant as my “government” buildings and home and whatever else.
Pictured are my original map and my current.
(For some reason, after I posted them to Twitter, it was only allowing me to save them to my computer as a .jfif and I don’t even know wtf that isssss.)
At some point we should all organize an island hop of some sort. Maybe gather Grouvee members who are interested and all travel to each other’s islands to go on walking tours.
