10 pm UTC works fine for me! That’s a comfy mid-afternoon over here, so I’m happy to move a couple hours in either direction if need be.

As you say! I feel good about aiming for the 8th, but if anyone would like to come by who can’t do 10 pm UTC and would like to see if we can all go for a different time, let us know! I know @BMO will be busy at this exact time and plans to swing by a little later. In earnest, I’m very flexible and just want to make it as hospitable as I can for everyone.
I’m going in for surgery tomorrow and will be a bit busy, but after that I’ll confirm the date + time and make a post on the front page to let everyone know who may have missed it and would like to attend.

OK! I feel good about locking this in now. As of now our group is a fabulous five encompassing:

- and @BMO (possibly joining later, but no pressure BMO)!
On August 8th at 10PM UTC, I’ll send out the room code in a private forum chat for our group. The plan is to play for a maximum of three hours, but we’ll check how we’re feeling after an hour or two of play. Anytime anyone would like to take a break or stop, we’ll do so! And… I think that’s everything for this first outing! Hopefully I didn’t forget anything. Please let me know if you have any questions.
I’m excited to play with everyone! Hopefully it’s be the start of many game nights to come. :>
P.S. surgery went well and I am sore but home and OK! <3

Would I be able to join still even if I’m currently halfway through the game with another group? I expect we’ll finish it tomorrow but it’s been a very good time thus far and a game I could see myself enjoying with different people. Of course, I give my word I would not spoil anything though I understand if people would nonetheless prefer a completely blind group. I just kinda want to walk.

Of course! Multiple people in our group have already played the game with different groups. It seems to me like the kind of game that you can get something out of subsequent playthroughs with different groups of people. Would be happy for you to join us! I’ll add you to the group chat.

OK everyone! It’s looking like our next Big Walk will take place on Sunday, the 16th of August! I’ve already gotten confirmation from a few of you in the group chat, but please let me know if you can make it. Aiming to keep the startup time at 10PM UTC just like last time, but as always let us know if this wouldn’t work and we’ll see if we can work out a preferable time together.
Just like last time we’ll try to cap the playtime at ~3 hours with breaks and check-ins, with wiggle room for a little more depending on how close to the end of the game we get and how everyone is feeling. Personally, I’m in no rush to finish the game; I’m just excited to be playing with you all!! We’ve got a lovely crew and it’s been so fun.

Our second Grouvee Game Night went just as great as the first one! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and if you couldn’t make it, don’t worry—we’ve still got more Big Walk to walk. It looks like we’ll be playing for one more session (EDIT: actually maybe two more if we’re taking our time but I guess we’ll find out!). I would love if everyone who has joined us so far could make it (unless you don’t want to, which is fine!), so please let me know how your availability is for the next week or so when you can! I’m gonna be a busy bee this coming week until the 20th, but after that I’m very flexible and happy to play at any time that everyone is able to make it.
