Grouvee Game Club

I will not be available to post the poll tomorrow so if someone else can in my stead, that would be greatly appreciated. Usually when I do polls, the amount of votes get determined by the amount of suggestions. 1-5 suggestions is one vote, 6-10 suggestions is two votes, 10+ suggestions is three votes. Also the poll should be up for one week. If y’all want to handle it differently, that’s fine. There is just a high risk I will be unavailable until Monday.

Alrighty, here’s this month’s poll! Everyone gets up to three votes, with voting closing on June 5th at midnight UTC+0.

Each poll option links to that game’s overview on Steam, but I tried to list all the other available platforms as well.

Thank you so much, Shinespark. :))

I thought that once Roach had made her return, we could determine this two-way tie. Instead, it’s a three-way tie now…

WHAT DO WE DO.

How do we feel if there’s a tie to do an additional poll to determine the sole winner? Having multiple games a month feels overwhelming. :sob:

I’m happy with this! :+1:

That’s the way to go. Tie breaker. Either one vote only or ranked ballot. Ranked ballot would be my choice.

Edit: there’s also lots of time for this to change.

For July, could I suggest “cards” as a theme? Card battlers and such.

I apologize. I haven’t been feeling great and have drastically reduced my social media usage recently. Y’all are welcome to continue the club if you wish as I am not able to continue it anymore. Thank you to everyone who participated and introduced new games to me.

Best wishes to @Roach. You did a great job with the club and everyone will miss your stewardship.

If people still want to participate in the Game Club and wish to make suggestions for July, post your suggestions below. Given @Vakil had a theme suggestion we can go with card-based games. May I suggest card or dice games, but outside the realm of D&D and video game versions of collectable card games and the like (i.e. BG III, Magic and Pokemon are out, but Dicey Dungeons, Lost in Random and Slay The Spire are in).

My nominations are: Signs of the Sojourner and Dicey Dungeons.

Second BMO’s comment. Hope you feel a little more centered soon, Roach and thanks for ushering us along these past years.

I will suggest two games I’m currently playing

Clutchtime Basketball Deckbuilder

Death Howl

Just a heads up. Both games I suggested are quite difficult. In Death Howl, I’m 70% of the way done and haven’t encountered anything I can’t beat yet. But some of these fights, and not even the boss fights, require many multiple replays to get the deck and strategy right. Don’t want to put anyone off but make sure you’re up for what you’re playing.

When do we put a poll for suggestions?

Signs of the Sojourner is 80% off on Steam for the next two days.

Dicey Dungeons is also 75% off.

A reminder, for those interested in participating in the Game Club who wish to make suggestions for July, please post your suggestion below. Our theme for this month is card or dice based games. We would like to thing outside the realm of D&D and video game versions of collectable card games and the like (i.e. BG3, Magic and Pokemon are out, but Dicey Dungeons, Lost in Random and Slay The Spire are potentially in).

Those four titles might be our poll choices. Unless anyone has a nomination to kick out, I’ll create the pool based on those games.

If there’s still time, I’ll throw in Lost Kingdoms 2 for the Gamecube!

I’m sorry for my previous message. I wasn’t handling the Grouvee stuff very well. May I nominate Baten Kaitos?
