Grouvee Game Club

There are four. Which one you get depends on who you help during the game.

Ah, I see!! I helped Benedict and Robin and broke Darrell and Oakley up.

I need to play more so I can read what y’all are saying. :sob:

Ok so you likely got Robyn’s ending if you helped her and Benedict. Notably I haven’t broken Darrel and Oakley up yet because that’s required for Clarissa’s ending and it’s hard to like Clarissa due to her air of superiority simply because she’s an angel.

One day. One day you will, I’m sure.

My goal is to make some decent process on Friday. I only have one social thing planned for that day so if I don’t make progress, shame on me!

Darrell was a total jerk and Oakley seemed nice so I didn’t mind breaking them up.

Plus there’s the crazy part I’m blurring text just for Roach’s benefit and hopefully she’ll appreciate it when she finally sees it which frankly made me go WHOA!!! in suprise.

Indeed, shame on you!

Darrell’s a jerk, but kind of because he’s trying so hard to be something that he thinks Oakley wants. He has self confidence issues and he compensates through shitty ways. The game explores a whole lot of different imperfect relationships and I appreciated what it did with them if you keep them together. Plus, helping Clarissa means hurting Oakley and I didn’t like that.

I’m running late on setting up the next poll and theme… Apologies for being human! I’ve decided the next theme will be…nonviolence! Suggest 1-2 games that do not feature violence in its core gameplay mechanics or themes.

Suggestions will be open until Feb. 27th when I will post the poll. The winner will be announced on Mar. 1st. If you’d like these times to be extended, please let me know!

You called it. Didn’t get to it at all last weekend. :sob:

My suggestions are going to be:

  • Beat Saber
  • Alba: a Wildlife Adventure

Awww, that was in jest. I’m sorry.

It’s okay. I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep up with all the game club games but a girl can dream!

If you want more time we can defer the next theme until later. Especially if anyone else wants more time.

My nominations, in any event:

I’m okay with that time frame but it is shorter than it usually is so I didn’t want to upset anyone who normally gets several days to suggest a game.

I mean we can just defer the whole thing and start the next theme later so that people can play the current game longer. We can still give people the same amount of time to then nominate and vote. We aren’t married to the month end.

True. I just don’t want anyone waiting on me because then we’d only play like 3 games a year but if someone else wants more time, we can delay. No problems there. :))

I nominate The Beekeeper’s Picnic
