Wait, so Ikenfell won? The poll reads weird. I don’t understand what the “none” references.
Ranked choice tallies up the votes. If no option has more than 50% of the overall votes, the bottom choice(s) are eliminated, their votes are redistributed among the remaining options, and you check again to see if one of the remaining options has a majority.
Yup, Ikenfel clinched the win.
I appreciate the chart. I love me a good chart. But now I am sad BMO will not be forced to fish. Darn!
I’ll never be forced to fish. It’s in my contract with god!
excited to discuss Ikenfel with ya’ll
I will be starting this game late because the Steam Summer Sale starts at the end of the month and I’m crossing my fingers it’ll be on sale then.
Best I can find in terms of a deal on Ikenfell is 14% off at Fanatical.
Ikenfell is in my Switch library so I think I’ll be joining.
Are any of the key selling sites legit and ethical? I see a lot of them have it for about a dollar; I’m guessing because it was part of a Humble Bundle a year ago.
I’m not sure. I don’t often buy PC games on other platforms so I’m unfamiliar with them.
Gotcha. I know G2A was caught selling stolen keys a few years back, but I don’t know if that’s the norm for those sites or a problem specific to G2A. My PC gaming knowledge is pretty minimal.
Sites like Humble and Fanatical are legitimate resellers so they are safe to purchase form.
Which ones have it for $1? I suspect those are likely grey market key sellers.
This site popped up. It shows prices in actual storefronts, the lowest being $16.57. Below those it shows prices in keyshops, the lowest being $1.24.
IsThereAnyDeal.com catalogues discounts from all legitimate resellers. They don’t post deals from grey market key sellers. I feel like that’s the safest way to find deals.
The vast majority are Steam keys, with some occasionally being for the Microsoft PC game store or Epic. They tend to beat Steam deals handily, even including during the big Steam Sales. You can usually save a lot more money buying from stores like Fanatical than Steam.
Ha, I love that petting the cat is how you save the game.
Well I didn’t expect to be playing a second turn based RPG with active attack and parry timing this year.
This is good to know. I will try not to be so lazy with my shopping but convenience is a siren call that is hard to overcome.
Do you mean convenience of clicking one button to purchase a game on Steam? It’s basically just as easy to buy from Fanatical or Humble, with there being only one added step: redeeming. But redeeming a game code is fairly automatic. You just press a button and you’re taken to Steam where the redemption code is already plugged into the redemption field for you.
One note, you can refund a purchase if you haven’t redeemed a code, but once you redeem it, there is no way to refund it. So if you like being able to try a game and return it within two hours, buying direct from Steam is still your only choice.
