made beignets
i made cacio e pepe again but this time it was good!
It feels real good to go back to a failed recipe a second time and succeed.
made these sourdough honey cinnamon rolls. i did accidentally tossed in too much of my sourdough discard so they came out a bit dense, but still very enjoyable.
made this french onion soup. it’s pretty easy and i had basically everything i needed. instead of gruyere, i had some freshly grated parmesan and instead of sherry, i tossed in some apple brandy. came out delicious
Did the apple brandy work?
i’d say yes. the apple compliments the cheese and the onion well.
Thicker than I expected, but honestly that’s a delight. Great with some toasty bread.
I’ve been working on soups recently. Figure if I’m gunna keep making bread every week, I might as well make some soups to eat along with them. Tomorrow I’m doing tomato!
I fixed it. That was what my phone assumed I wanted to share… I guess because it is what I shared last time.
making focaccia now. i forgot to rotate these.
i think this may be my new bread for awhile. great for sandos and my kids are sick of all the soups and stews.
made an ube cake for my kid’s space themed birthday.
i used the batter to make cupcakes as well
i made a mistake with the frosting so i panicked and went with store bought. still my kid told me they could taste the love.
