Iām not sure if this is one of those things that initially seem positive but wouldnāt be necessary in a healthier society but I think itās pretty neat. Reminds me of Japan with their various āsocial servicesā.

Randomly thought about this video from about a year ago. I posted it on the main site back then, but itās worth posting here because it contains excellent analysis, and is a great example of a video essay that makes full use of the medium and wouldnāt easily translate to a written essay because the visual examples are quintessential to that analysis. A great video all around.

An interesting look at what ābeing Irishā is or ā¦ so much more. I learned so much. It is long but damn what a good video. And it puts the finger hard on everything that hurts - it gets darker and darker, literally.
My last visit in an Irish pub in Stuttgart (Germany) feels weird now. That evening with Irish music, beer, food and poetry was great but feels so wrong and plastic yet so Irish. Damn, the world is complicated, also fuck racists and fascists and all the other haters in that long, long list.
