That was unexpected. :joy:

I used my new walking pad to walk along with this video. And then found out this was a trail in Oregon! Happy surprise. :))

I didn’t say that right. I’m a professional musician, I know making art can be a job. I’m saying there’s something human about the creation and expression of said art that AI can’t replicate.

This video is like a car accident, you don’t want to watch but you can’t look away either.

I am not strong enough for 1 1/2 hours of this:

I’m not sure if this is one of those things that initially seem positive but wouldn’t be necessary in a healthier society but I think it’s pretty neat. Reminds me of Japan with their various ā€œsocial servicesā€.

Apparently the People Walker popped off as a business but it was short-lived. RIP.

Not particularly a standout video on its own, but the topic is interesting especially since I was kind of intrigued by the game:

Randomly thought about this video from about a year ago. I posted it on the main site back then, but it’s worth posting here because it contains excellent analysis, and is a great example of a video essay that makes full use of the medium and wouldn’t easily translate to a written essay because the visual examples are quintessential to that analysis. A great video all around.

Insane how they’ve nuked their entire business. Another reason why I don’t do Kickstarter backs. I’ve literally only supported one and it was someone who already had successful projects and businesses for many years prior.

Unfortunately the original is unavailable for me, because I would need a VPN to watch it, so I post the Reddit site it is embedded in:

Bernd is the best. He is the epitome of being German and my spriritual animal bread..

This might be the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZlw0gKXQAI&t=1796s (not available in my country)

An interesting look at what ā€œbeing Irishā€ is or … so much more. I learned so much. It is long but damn what a good video. And it puts the finger hard on everything that hurts - it gets darker and darker, literally.

My last visit in an Irish pub in Stuttgart (Germany) feels weird now. That evening with Irish music, beer, food and poetry was great but feels so wrong and plastic yet so Irish. Damn, the world is complicated, also fuck racists and fascists and all the other haters in that long, long list.
