For some reason after I navigate a few pages, the website stops loading for me. The only thing that seems to fix it is to wait for a good while or connect with a different IP (either via a VPN or with my mobile connection). Could the server be banning my IP temporarily for some reason? I always use Firefox, both on my smartphone and my computer.
I have some bot rate limiting code that might be getting hit now because of the new turbo framework I’m using. When you mouse over a link it actually calls back to the server whether you click on it or not. I bet that’s causing some people to hit it without realizing. I’ll look into this.
Thanks for the heads up. It happens on my smartphone as well, so I don’t think it’s related just to hovering over links. I think it happens mostly after navigating over lists and the main activity feed.
Yeah, I don’t think that’s it either after looking at it. Next time it happens, can you DM me your IP address? I want to see if something else is catching it.
Yeah, no problem. As expected, now that I want it to happen, it doesn’t, lol, but next time it blocks me, I’ll try to DM you the relevant IP.
