Steam Not Importing Properly

I have followed a lot of the articles for the steam games not importing, it looks like there is an issue as it is importing a game I do not own through steam and only import 12 games including the faulty one.

Pokemon Red/Blue is importing. Wondering if this is causing an issue as I have done all the troublesooting I can from my end. I exported the game list hoping it would show me which game it was attemting to import but there may be something of value in the logs.

Let me know what you find out.

I don’t know how I missed this thread. I will look into it and see what’s going on. Pokemon must be mapped to something incorrectly. I will report back.

I remembered I had third-party games imported, not very much but I removed those in case they were causing the issue but it does not seem to be the case. New purchased items are coming through but not all the ones I already have.

Just wanted to share.

I haven’t dug into the logs too much because I was messing with the forum software this morning. This isn’t documented well enough, but if a game is already on a shelf that isn’t your wish list, it won’t “import” it because it’s already in your collection. I suspect that could be what’s going on here. I could maybe make it a setting to import a game to your Steam shelf no matter the current status of a game on your shelves. I’ve had it set to import and not import over the years, and I’ve had people complain to me both ways. I’ll make sure this is what’s going on here shortly.

I remember having issues in the past sometimes with importing when you have a lot of games.

I saw that post previously, but it should port in games that aren’t on either shelf was my thought. That’s the issue I am experiencing mostly as well as the game I dont have (pokemon).

Got it. OK. I just ran your import manually to look at the list. Check this list out here: Log In and track your game collection and backlog with Grouvee

It looks like we need some games mapped, which you should be able to do from that page pretty easily, and then it looks like there are probably 4 games that need to be added to the database. If you want to submit them yourself, you can do that at Log In and track your game collection and backlog with Grouvee, or if you want to list the Steam IDs here, I can create them fairly quickly from the Steam ID.

I fixed the Pokemon Red/Blue mapping. Someone thought they were funny.
