There are a few games on my Steam account that I don’t want on my shelves. (One I bought a long time ago, never played, and at this point I have no interest in playing it, so I don’t consider it a backlogged game, and the other is a two-game bundle that I prefer to have on my shelves as two individual games so I can rate and review them independent of each other.)
I can remove them, but they always come back when the Steam data resyncs (which is not unexpected). Could there be some way to flag specific titles to block them from being added to your shelves? Or if there isn’t, could there be an option to create a private/hidden shelf that’s only visible to yourself, so a gal could just stick the Steam games she doesn’t want to appear in her collection on that shelf?
Or is there a clever solution somebody has come up with to handle this with the existing tools?
OK, I went ahead and built the feature. This is the best way I could come up with. If you have a better interface idea, let me know.
Go to https://www.grouvee.com/steam/imported/ and find the game in the list. Then click the ignore future button. It will be ignored going forward unless you click the button again to un ignore it.
I don’t think I’ve put it on the site anywhere yet. I’m only doing Steam imports on Sundays right now. It’s fairly resource intensive, and doing it every day didn’t seem to be necessary. I did make it a “feature” of Grouvee Gold that you can do a manual refresh twice a day with the click of a button.
That being said, if you ever want to do it without Gold, you can delete your community URL from the settings page, save it, then re enter it and save again. That kicks off a manual import.
