I have, and I implore you to stick with it because it gets exponentially better and fascinating. I was enthralled throughout the whole experience (especially as you start to explore areas outside Yarnham). If you’re at all fond of Lovecraftian horror, you’ll love the subtle thematic changes that happen over time.

I think you’ll like it. There are some little frustrations with it that I’ve heard were fixed with part 2, but the first one is still a great game.

I’m very glad that I’m sticking with Bloodborne. I’ll give @yourehungry some credit for that one. I’m getting a lot better at the combat, and I was able to take down the Blood-Starved Beast on my first try. I’m in the “unseen” section that seems hard as shit, but it’s still fun to run around in right now.
