I know, I know. It’s practically the same game as Mario Kart 8…but could we still get a separate entry for it? I did play through it all over again on the Switch and I would love to document it. Thank you for your consideration.

Generally ports and platform releases do not receive separate entries. However, they do receive entries on the “releases” page, and there is a way to add releases to a shelf as a means to document a specific playthrough. If you navigate to the release page for a game you can add the specific release (based on platform) to your shelves and document playthrough dates. I just glanced at Mario Kart 8 and discovered there isn’t currently anything under releases. One of us will update that today, or as soon as we can, and then you’ll be able to add the Switch version to a shelf.
