List feedback

The new list feature is really cool, and I like it. I had some feedback to offer, though I just woke up, so I’m only recalling some things ATM.

  1. A button to direct us to our own lists on the main lists page would be nice. I understand it can be done via the dropdown menu, but it’s intuitive for me to first click “lists,” then have a brief moment of confusion looking for access to my own, there. I see no harm in an additional method, anyway.
  2. Recent and/or popular lists should be displayed on a user’s profile, identical to how “favorite games” and “now playing” are displayed. Putting the onus on the viewer to click the “lists” tab, which may not have anything, adds another step that might decrease engagement.
  3. Improved mobile functionality. Mainly, I think the default size of the text entry field should be larger. If I’m editing commentary that has a large amount of text, I have to scroll quite a ways horizontally to reach the end, and it means I’m likely to skip over parts I want to edit. Also, I think an arrow to move an entry up or down would be easier to use than the touch-and-hold method, because the latter has more ambiguous positioning on a touchscreen.

Thank you for the new feature, and any improvements you make!

Adding a list to the profile is on my list of things to do.

Yeah, the add notes does suck on mobile. I honestly didn’t really test that feature on mobile, so I didn’t even notice it. I’ll see if I can come up with a better interface.

I tried that at first. I didn’t like it for large lists though. That’s why the number option is there. The arrows might still be more accessible than the drag and drop. I just thought the drag and drop was cool
