Question about marking a game imported from IGDB on my shelves.
I know that the import is creating duplicates and, presumably, the duplicates will eventually get deleted. If I find a game that is only imported and has no duplicate, will it remain in the database? I don’t want to add it to my shelves only to have it removed later.
Yes, games that aren’t in the IGDB database will remain in our database. Once we figure out what those games are, Ideally we then submit all those games to their database.
Do you have an example game you’re talking about?
These are the ones that I encountered yesterday. I tend to be one of those people who add my niche little indie games to the database since I’m one of a dozen people who play them (see above) so I suspect I’ll run into this more often than others.
