How to request games to be added to database?

Indeed

Thanks for the reply!

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I meant that those games don’t have PC as a platform check box when you select the platform for that game.

I noticed Megadimension Neptunia VII added PC as a platform, but Final Fantasy Type-0 doesn’t have the option for PC. Since I have that game on PC I was looking for that option.

Got it. It should now. Check and let me know if not.

Hi, welcome to Grouvee. My apologies for the delayed response.

It looks like Monster Trucks Mayhem is here:

The issue is that the release page doesn’t list both the Wii and GBA versions. We’ll clean that up shortly. However, I have added Wii as a platform you can select if you want to go ahead an add it to your library.

Hi,

It is likely Night of Azure 2 will be automatically at a later date. GiantBomb does not yet have an entry for it, and as soon as they add one Grouvee will pull that info and generate an entry. If we add an entry manually at this time we will likely end up with a duplicate which requires merging. If it’s not particularly pressing that we add it now, and if it’s ok with you, I’m going to hold off creating the entry for the time being.

Thank you! I appreciate it!

If you visit the release page there are now entries for GBA and Wii (ignore that they both say Wii under platform, that will get fixed. The box art is correct however).

got a few worth being in the database/worth a look at maybe. VR The Diner Duo is great fun and worth playing

KOTH looks interesting has anyone played the original? This seems promising.

Stellar Interface looks worth a shot

Correct me if I am wrong, because I know very little from what I’ve read online, but is this not a mod for Fallout New Vegas?

@PoisonAlice has a point about SA’s and TC’s being worthy of an entry. I mean, One could argue where a stand alone release using an existing engine and a new game begins (the perfect argument woudl be Far Cry Blood Dragon lol) but this release is definitely Fallout 2. And TY @PoisonAlice . Good post! I also learned that Fallout 2 Resurrection was released (i remember reading about it like 4 years ago when it was in development and looking good) Fallout 1.5: Resurrection

For the sake of pragmatism I dont think Standalone mods (or ‘total conversions’) should be in the database (or if it’s even possible the way the site works.) Unless they get really notable. But being an active skyrim mod ‘user’ i do wish to track some of them via grouvee somehow, and there is a legit reason to want that since these mods are very much their own thing. Same with DLC (such as with Magicka which has oodles of DLC that play like mods) Same with all the old single player mods for Thief DP and Half-Life The best way to play Thief 1 now is through The Dark Mod engine overhaul Mod. which actually does have a grouvee entry i see (I can already think of three ‘mods’ for half-life that became their own franchises that i was playing as ‘mods’ in 1999! and there are many more that became their own one hit wonder prodcuts that were released indepdently. Same is true for Unreal Tournament (killing floor got started as a UT99 Total Conversion)

What I have been doing (and would suggest) is write status updates, as personal ‘notes’ (i often make them private, but not always) to keep track of mods, with the hope that one day grouvee has a calandar or timeline (like letterboxd) that lets me look back on a timeline. This would function well enough to keep track of mods i play. In fact, it would be nice to be able to do something this with anything not in the database. that way if it is a game that isnt in the database (yet) we can still tag it somehow, or even write reviews of unlisted stuff, with the hope that one day it might show up later, or otherwise keep track of it if we just run a simple search for a title of something.

Ok, in that case can you possibly provide some addotional details? I can’t seem to find a lot in English. I just need original release date, platforms, and developer/publisher name. With that info I’ll post it to Grouvee.

Hi can you add Japanese School Life for PC please?

Here are some games on my Steam account that don’t seem to have entries in Grouvee’s database:

Half-Life: Source
OH! RPG!
Princess Battles
Queen At Arms
Time of Shadows

Hi!

So i can’t seem to find Pro Evolution Soccer 6, neither on GiantBomb or Grouvee’s. Can someone add it please or point if the game is under another name?

Thanks

Could you add this one:

It’s free and worth playing if you like grim stories with good soundtrack

Hey. i signed up for a GB account to make entries and releases for stuff I play (rather than ask here) i got through most of the process and as far as i know ‘it’s done’ but for some reason the page for Radiation Island isn’t showing up on Grouvee search. Did I miss something or is there something that has to be done by grouvee to find it for some reason?

I think import is on a schedule. If it doesn’t appear after a day or so we’ll add it (I plan to add a bunch of entries as soon as I am back from vacation anyway).

It should have grabbed it by now. I guess my update script messed up starting on the 17th. Apparently there’s a release in the Giant Bomb database that has more than 200 characters in the name, and my script was failing when trying to grab that game. I’m re-running it right now, and it should be in there soon.
