History Of SEGA Book Info

Firstly, I wasn’t sure exactly where to put this, so mods please feel for to move this.

As you may have seen on the main site, the book is now open for pre-orders. Here’s where you can get it.

Electronic Edition:

  • Publisher website - In the green box, provide your email and select “eBook” on the drop down to be notified when the digital edition is available. I’m not sure exactly when this will be, but I assume on the release date of September 30th.

UK:

  • Directly from the publisher: Ordering it via here you’ll save £6 while the book is still in pre-doer. Goes to full price on release date.
  • WHSmiths, slightly cheaper, but not as cheap as from the publisher.
  • Waterstones, but it’s full price.

Australia:

  • Angus and Robinson
  • If anyone in the Great Southern Land finds it available anywhere else, please let me know!

US:

Rest of the World:

I’ve spoken with my publisher about other parts of the world, and there will be options forthcoming. As soon as they are in place I’ll post the info here. I know thus far that there will be at least one other option for the US and AU.

Again, if anyone sees it being sold anywhere please let me know!

I’ve a new Substack I’ll be starting soon, too, that act as an extension of the book. More on that next week.

Otherwise, please feel free to post any questions, comments, abuse () here.

Cheers everyone.

Thanks very much for that. I’ve added those, and info about the e-book, to the original post.

If anyone is interested, I’ve started a new Substack called SEGA Extra. The idea is that it’ll cover aspects of the company’s history I didn’t have space for in the book itself.

While I’ve been told there will be a digital edition, it isn’t available for pre-order. The error was on my part as I misunderstood the info from the publisher. Apologies for that. The top post has been updated.

Decided to have a crack at making an ad for the book on Insta that embraces the cheeky sensibilities of SEGA’s old advertising.
