I believe you can have a meteor shower without a Celeste visit. I haven’t experienced it yet, but it is possible.
Are you planning to have your gates open for a bit? I wouldn’t mind popping over for some stars.

When there’s a meteor shower, Isabelle notes it when you start the game up that day, and on these occasions, Celeste visits. On the nights when there are just some occasionally shooting by, she does not.
I’ve had a few meteor showers since the game came out. I had a legit meteor shower one night, and just a few shooting stars the next night, so that’s what I’m basing it on.

I’ve never had Isabelle mention a meteor shower. I’ve never had shooting stars on nights when Celeste is there. But I have had shooting stars on a random other night.

This was a night where it was a legit meteor shower and not just a regular clear night. Isabelle announced it and everything - no Celeste. 
In some weird twist of luck, I had another full-on meteor shower the next night LOL which did have Celeste visit (when Tyler and BMO visited).
I wonder if the guidebook has anything to say about that (since the info online from players is conflicting), but my NA edition is still not shipped out…

So what’s with the new Dodo services? You can send items back to your inventory, or sell them at a 20% loss. That part makes sense. But so far I have only been given the option on Harv’s island. It doesn’t work on mystery islands. When will I ever need to send items back to my inventory from Harv’s island?

I’ve not tried them out on mystery islands but that does seem rather odd. I believe it’s so that you can ship / sell Cyrus’s wedding stuff but it seems an odd limitation

You get one item from Cyrus a day, plus you need one other slot for the crystals. I suppose it could be there in case you didn’t free up spots before you flew to Harv’s. But it seems like an over engineered solution, especially since that functionality would be perfect for mystery islands.

From what I was reading yesterday, it’s only on Harv’s island. Makes no sense to me. When Wilbur mentioned it, I was like, “Okay, this is nice for mystery islands, even though I barely do them anymore.” But it’s not for those, at least at this point.

I think it’s only point is if you forgot to dump items before flying to Harv’s Island and need the space. Here’s hoping it does get implemented on mystery islands.

Had an announced meteor shower night this week, I scoured my entire island for Celeste and she wasn’t there. Saved and exited cause I thought I was done for the night, and as I was about to close the game, the startup screen showed her walking on the plaza. I’m pretty sure she wasn’t there before…

She can be hard to find. She was on my island. I invited my brother to visit and we couldn’t find her. Took us half an hour of searching separately to find her.

She was on my island yesterday. I didn’t notice her for most of the day. She was behind a tree right by the airport.

I was initially thinking that maybe she hasn’t spawned yet or something prior to me exiting my current gameplay but you’re probably right. I do also lose track of where Sahara is some days if I just let them wander around after an initial sighting.

So, this was the first Sunday that I didn’t receive an HHA letter. Don’t know why. My partner did, and I know that the items in my house rank S and above 150k. I wonder if there’s a limit on the total number of HHA letters. I’ve noticed that other people have posted similar experiences on other forums, so I’m not alone. Anyone here also not receive a letter recently?
