Seeing that @Roach’s alphabet challenge proved quite popular last year and that there’s interest in a 2025 edition, I’m creating a new thread. I’ll rename the original thread to reflect the challenge year of 2024. This will make it easier to search for the challenge thread for a given year and keep a single thread from ballooning out with each subsequent list year.
Borrowing @Roach instructions wholesale, here we go:
Welcome to the Grouvee Alphabet Backlog Challenge 2025!
There are two ways to approach this challenge:
Play or beat games for each letter of the alphabet.
(Ex: A - Assassin’s Creed, B - Bomberman)
OR
Select one letter to play or beat games starting with that specific letter.
(Ex: F - Fatal Fury, Final Fantasy)
Any games played this year may count toward your progress. There is no end date so anyone can join at any time. The point of this challenge is to try and experience games from our backlog instead of just collecting them.
Bonus points for anyone who wants to add numbers into the mix.

I only started the 1st round of this in June so I’ll be sticking to that one. No point restricting every challenge to a 1st January start date. Thanks though, have fun.
Definitely no reason not to continue an existing list. Making 1January a switch over just works as an already convenient roll-over date so that it’s a bit easier to track multiple lists for those who want to do this multiple times/annually. But nothing is a hard and fast rule and people can continue to post to the previous thread, especially to finish current lists. Think of this new thread as a place to post a new list if you decide to give it another go once you’re done your first list. Assigning a year to it makes it a bit easier to search for a particular list if you want to hope back through time and peruse historical lists (eventually, if we keep this going long enough).

I have a list for the year, but its way way more than ill actually finish. Its more just like these are stuff i should play, rather than looking at my 1700 game backlog.
