Very cool! I would love to win a Grouvee Gold membership Thanks for the chance!
I don’t want to take part in the giveaway, since I purchased Grouvee Gold just last week but here’s my transformative gaming story:
Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 1 transformed a big part of my interests.
Around ten years ago I absolutely hated horror games and anything to do with Zombies. I was too scared/disgusted to play any type of horror game or watch horror movies. And I didn’t want to even see anything to do with Zombies because I felt that they were very weird, gross and kinda depressing.
For some reason, on a whim, I decided to buy Telltale’s The Walking Dead on sale one day - I like story focused games so I thought I’d just try it. And would you look at that, to this day it’s one of my all-time favorite games. I bawled my eyes out at the end and I wish I could play it again for the first time. Not only that, I started enjoying horror games, started watching the tv series and loving zombies. Plus, horror movies no longer scare me - sometimes they’re even funny. I still don’t like splatter horror though - it’s not really scary, just nasty.
Without Telltale’s The Walking Dead I would have missed out on a lot of great memories.
Thank you so much.
Let’s go for the win!!!
Thanks for the giveaway, I appreciate the opportunity.
derp wanted to say givaway
It feels kinda tender (is that word right?) that you just said “say anything and enter the contest” and most people wanted to tell something more and started to narrate their gaming life.
I would like to write better in English so I could do that without so much effort.
I kind of love these AI images. ChatGPT really thinks games=pokemon
Why is it SO BAD at spelling and numbers and language?
I was under the impression that this was correct? Are you telling me there are non-pokemon games that exist and that I should have been playing all this time?
Were you trying to say tierno? Then I think sweet fits better.
Also, count me in, although I think I’ll finally be able to pay for gold this year after so many years of financial struggle?
Well yeah, digimon obviously
Pokemun is my favorite. I can’t think of a super awesome gaming story but I can list some vignettes.

I never played a Pokemon game but watched the cartoon a lot and collect the cards despite being a 41 year old gray man. It’s one of those things like Harry Potter that I just assume I would not like. Started watching a Harry Potter movie the other night and liked it. Never assume anything.

I still play Might and Magic 2 from 1986 or 89. I don’t know. My favorite thing to do is use a duplicating mirror on itself. If I were to use a duplicating mirror too many times it makes my characters evil when equipped.

Drunk Mario Kart. Just leaving this here.

Overhauling the sphere grid in Final Fantasy X is un-necessary but fun when you’re trying to do everything in the game.

Grouved, Grouvvee, Pokemun, FRRSFEE FAN

Fun fact. I paid for Grouvee Gold one time when it was like $60. Peter felt bad and sent me a shirt. Oh shit, where’d that shirt go? I might have worn it to oblivion and turned it into a rag. Damn.
I see your drunk mario kart and raise you drunk new years wii sports
That could get dangerous
No accidents so far. …2 years running lol
I’m here, I’m interested in the giveaway. Not because I want the site to be add-free, but because I want the advertised “warm feeling”
I just want to feel something, man.
Transformative gaming experiences? When I was a little tadpole, I couldn’t handle frustration at all. One time, while I was playing through Hugo Black Diamond Fever, a game supposedly made for babies but with some hard difficulty spikes (from a baby POV), there was one level where you needed to jump before the platform you are on falls. Back then, I had no technical ability, so this was extremely hard. I jump to a platform, that then starts to wobble, signaling that it was about to fall, sending me into a panic and scrambling to prepare the next jump. I could do it once or twice, but the game asked for like 5 jumps in a row.
I remember asking my dad (someone who barely played games) for help, and getting extremely angry and frustrated when he also failed. I just didn’t like seeing Hugo fall to his death.
Back in the day, I only played three or four games every year, so I had ample time with that level. Eventually, I somehow manage to beat it, after learning to calm down and that “it’s just a game”, you shouldn’t get so work up about it.
Nowadays, I replay it once a year, just for nostalgia’s sake.
Ah, yeah, “sweet” fits perfectly!
Sometimes I am not too good writing English
I enjoy that its “helping the lights on”. It sounds like the lights are having some breakdown and we are keeping them going.
Like because of the A Jugar con Hugo reference
