They are very short games and can be done in 1-2 sittings. Super easy to clear from the backlog.
Randomly came upon the trailer for Airframe: Ultra, a new game from the folks behind Rain World. The jittery mess of PS1 textures are an acquired taste for sure, but I’ve got huge nostalgia for that old era of futuristic racers like Extreme G, and the floaty-drifty movement looks slick.
I’m not at all interested in basket ball, but this looks great!
This looks really chaotic and fun. Turns out it’s already on my wishlist.
This reminds me of the pinball game.
This actually looks pretty cute.
Good grief!

So it looks like Comix Zone is getting a spiritual successor. Warning; the trailer is rather distasteful (IMO)
Looks absolute shite. Glad SEGA isn’t involved. It’s like what every 13-year olds idea of being “hard” is. And those female characters…
Wow. That was horrible lmao. This would fit in perfectly in the 2010’s, certainly not now. It is giving mobile shovelware. They showed like three different art styles for the characters. The movement is very slow. I’m not even gonna comment on the intro.
Gawd, the intro. I felt embarrassed watching it!
Fully 13 years later, there’s a new trailer for Routine! I’d written this game off as vaporware ages ago, cool to see it’s finally coming out.
I’m worried that the ideas in this game were pretty fresh a decade ago, but might not feel that way now. We’ll see, and I’m still very curious.
Oh I’ve got zero read on its freshness, I know next to nothing about horror games. I just think it’s neat that they’ve stuck with it and are still releasing something after all this time.
I’m with you. I’ve wanted to play it the whole time. I wonder how they’ve responded to other survival horror, including sci-fi horror like Alien Isolation, that came out since the time they first started working on it.
This still looks scary as hell.
