In 2024, I am out here finishing Fallout: New Vegas for the very first time! Let me say, no sprinting on 9th gen consoles really through you for a loop. Plenty of other things are dated when it comes to this game, but all can be ignored for the masterful writing and roleplay that Obsidian delivers. I didn’t get the ending I wanted becuase I followed my own greedy ambitions for a robot army but I loved all the alarming dialogue options that can be followed to your own whimsical wishes. This is only my second entry into the fallout franchise after completing 4 several times, and I have to say, I understand the “new vegas > 4” very well. 4 is more fun on the gameplay side, but that may on be due to timing of the release and hardware limitations. New Vegas > 4
