I know that I’ll sound like an internet old person, but does anyone here (still) uses [Last FM](https://www.last.fm)? It was all the rage around…, what, 2008? I still scrobble most of the music I listen to and go to my profile periodically just to see what I’ve listen and the ebb and flow of my musical tastes. ---

I actually use it! I have my Spotify account connected to my last.fm account, it scrobbles everything automatically. I still use LastFM to this day. It’s always interesting to track what I’ve been listening to in the recent period, as well as how much for each format of music release. For the topic’s sake, I deem myself as a progressive rock/metal fan, with a bit of every genre coming to my taste. Giraffes? Giraffes! sounds pretty cool. I’ll have to go check more of their stuff out. I also love crazy drummers in math rock bands. I think two of my favorite bands with insane drummers are Polyphia and Animals as Leaders. All of the musicians in those bands are so good. I kind of put Thundercat in my math rock group since he’s such an amazing bass player. My brother showed me this video not too long ago of Thundercat playing with Mac Miller, and it’s pretty incredible. Thundercat is just nuts.
