A note for anyone who wants to access the transcript: there is manually transcribed text in SimpleCast, text that includes speaker names. It turns out that apps like Apple Podcasts don’t pull that transcript in and display it, they just generate their own transcript. The auto-generated transcript does not feature speaker names, and it also misnames things like the game _Drag x Drive_ as Dragon Drive because the transcription software they use doesn’t understand that title. However, I did link directly to the SinpleCast transcript in the episode notes. That link can be accessed in any podcast app, so if you use a podcast app like Apple Podcasts and want the official transcript instead of a shoddy auto-generated one, you can access it via the link provided. ---

I imagine it’s thinned out quite a lot. The first time I played another player showed up and then started guiding me towards objectives. We would shine our lights at each other to communicate. I suspect that if you played it long after launch you didn’t have the same chances of running into people. When it first launched in PS3, and then later when it was given away as part of PS+ it had a large pool of players. It was a very cool experience. ---

My apologies to everyone that this episode is late. We recorded back in June after Summer Game Fest and planned to edit and release it shortly after. Unless the song title is a clear giveaway, I don’t think so. But listening to you all made me think if I’ve ever encountered a twist in a game that was on the level of A Canticle for Leibovitz, Usual Suspects, or the end of season 1 of Game of Thrones. Something that made my jaw drop in shock. I’m having trouble thinking of any. Some have certainly surprised me; Indica most recently. But not in a total plot twist way. ---
