Hoping the Timberland store near me gets these and they aren’t too expensive. ---

I don’t love them and they basically just look like an existing Puma shoe rendered in new colourways and with a few added Sonic accents. ---

I’ve got some they did a few years back that I think look much better. ![20240720_184532-COLLAGE](https://discuss.grouvee.com/uploads/default/original/2X/4/48611c9c2b772cd09fe3b5d7fcb14c3525af332e.jpeg) ---

I remember seeing footage of Star Garden some time ago. Obvious comparisons to the chao gardens aside, I really dig the Space Channel 5 vibes it seems to be going for. (And Cool Cool Toon? For an even deeper Dreamcast cut, lol.) Something to keep an eye on at least. That said, I still hold out hope for an actual return to form for the chao gardens. They were such a clever way to give the Sonic Adventure games a ton of replayability. ---

It absolutely boggles the mind why SEGA haven’t released an official Chao Garden. It’d be perfect as a mobile game, and a licence to print money. With their (re) introduction in the _Sonic 3_ movie and the animations they did based around Chao it just seems like the perfect opportunity. ---

_Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds_ early access has landed [at “Overwhelmingly Positive”.](https://sonic-city.net/2025/09/24/sonic-racing-crossworlds-early-access-debuts-with-overwhelmingly-positive-reviews/) While I still won’t be paying £70 for it, I’m glad it’s off to a great start! In other SEGA news the [_Panzer Dragoon II remake_](https://www.segasaturnshiro.com/2025/09/19/panzer-dragoon-zwei-remake-info-images-revealed-after-long-wait/) is still happening! I know @BMO mentioned making this a general SEGA discussion thread as well as Sonic aaaages ago so I finally edited the title. 😎 ---

Ryan Drummond is a guest on the latest ep of _Toon’d In with Jim Cummings._ I usually listed to the podcast rather than watch the YouTube vid, but they are a fun listen.
