I also plan to take the existing photos and make a single gallery where people can peruse all 31 days of images. That’s my first step I noted next few days after I post my 35mm film shots for a couple days that were waiting on developing.
Also congratulations on writing the 200th message!
It’s been a busy week but I wanted to say that this was a really fun idea and I had a great time participating with my own photos as well as viewing everyone else’s, even though I hopped in halfway through. I don’t foresee myself posting many more for an extended submission period unless I stumble into a really cool photo but I’m sure I’ll be more on the lookout now that this challenge has had my mind geared a bit more towards how I can capture stuff with my camera.
I’m working on making a new gallery that showcases the entire month of March submissions. There are a few photos that I need to add a capture date to so that they flow in chronological order, and then I’ll post the entire thing so you can either view data by day through the existing galleries or view everything in one place. I’ve mostly been delayed by the fact that it’s Easter weekend and I’m bouncing around from one family even to another all weekend.
I’m also thinking about how to manage an ongoing gallery. Some of you have already submitted photos for April and I promise to include them in the new ongoing gallery, once I figure out how best to do it. The Lightroom gallery I use allows people to submit directly to the gallery, which is one option, but it requires that the person submitting has an Adobe account and I don’t want anyone to have to jump through hoops to contribute. I’ll update on my plan for this soon.
