My girlfriend was perusing Steam the other day and saw a game about base building and the genre piqued her interest. She wanted to play a game in that sort of vein but that had a story, or at least clear objectives and an ending; she does’t want an endless sandbox. I have no experience with this genre so I didn’t have any idea. Can the Grouvee community recommend a few good options? ([cross-posting from the main site](https://www.grouvee.com/status/57848/)) ---

Some suggestions in different genres that may be of interest, based on what you describe: Subnautica Astroneer Banished Spore The Wandering Village House Builder Fortnite: Save the World (The campaign mode, which was supposed to be the original game) Satisfactory No Man’s Sky 7 Days to Die Sheltered ---

I highly recommend Kingdom Two Crowns. It can be played solo or two player co-op and the story is in the exploration.
